We meet individuals where they are, and use their interests and preferences to customize programs. We also work with a variety of local agencies to assist with funding for our programs.

quality Care and Training

Rec2Connect’s team consists of professionals from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets. Our team includes Recreation Therapists, Intervention Specialists, and Special Education Teachers. All of our team members have a passion for providing goal-driven and meaningful recreation therapy services in a community setting. All staff members complete Rec2Connect specialized training in therapeutic, procedural, and aquatic therapy prior to starting with clients. Our Founder

Jen Knott

I founded Rec2Connect to assist individuals with and without disabilities in enhancing their recreation potential and experiences in life in a community based setting. In working with children, adults, and families with and without disabilities, we recognize the many barriers to recreation involvement. We strive to eliminate as many barriers as possible by designing inclusive, goal-driven, individualized, and meaningful recreation programs. We believe that recreation activities can assist people with and without disabilities and their families in expanding their recreation repertoire, memories, and experiences together.

Thank you for the support from our families and donors that has made it all possible!
