Overview

This 1-hour program provides children with the opportunity to explore a variety of exercise and sport activities while developing essential skills in teamwork, social interaction and motor planning.

A small group of young participants, guided by a therapist, are engaged in a session where they are instructed to place ping pong balls on colored squares on the floor using putters..

Financial Assistance

We recognize that program costs can be a barrier for some families. That's why we accept a variety of funding sources—and each year, we offer financial assistance through the Eileen Hewitt Scholarship Fund to support access to Rec2Connect programs. For more information click HERE.

    What's Connect and Move?
    This 1-hour program provides children with the opportunity to explore a variety of exercise and sport activities while developing essential skills in teamwork, social interaction and motor planning.

    What if my child needs 1:1 support?
    We have many options! We offer 1:1 support in our group programs through volunteers and Rec2Connect staff.

    What is your enrollment policy?
    Participants enroll for the full 4 week or 8 week session. Payment is made prior to session. If you miss a class, you are not reimbursed for that class.

    What should I wear or bring?
    Wear comfortable athletic clothes and shoes. Bring a water bottle or towel, though the groups will take breaks and have the opportunity to use a water fountain.
