Overview
Let's make memories together! Join us for events for families to connect and engage in recreation together through events throughout Northeast Ohio. Family events have previously involved trips to the Cleveland Guardians games, ice skating days, pool parties, kickball games and more.

Join Rec2Connect's volunteer team and make a HUGE impact! We’re searching for compassionate, energetic and creative volunteers for a variety of our programs and events. By volunteering, you can gain professional experience, meet a fun group of our participants, and spread our mission for inclusive recreation!
Volunteers must complete a background check and fill out an application.

We recognize that program costs can be a barrier for some families. That's why we accept a variety of funding sources—and each year, we offer financial assistance through the Eileen Hewitt Scholarship Fund to support access to Rec2Connect programs. For more information click HERE.

All immediate family is welcome to attend! - 2What should I expect at the event?
All family events are unique, with engagement and fun Included. Always! All events typically include games, food, and connection with other families. Our experienced team is here to help in anyway during the event. - 3What's the cancellation policy?

Please wear comfortable, weather and event specific clothing - 5How often do family events occur?
Family Events occur one time per month.
