Overview

This is a 2 hour structured program led by experienced and certified belay instructors. Participants will experience a beginner-friendly rock climbing course with skill-building activities and games. This program meets weekly and promotes socialization, problem-solving, physical activity, and teamwork. Program is designed for individuals ages 7+. Pre-registration is required at least 48 hours in advance.

Cost

$55 per class includes shoes and harness rental ($5 discount for private pay)

Financial Assistance

    Who can attend?
    This program is designed for those 7+.

    What do I wear?
    Please wear comfortable clothing and wear or bring socks. We rent harnesses and climbing shoes from the rock gyms for use weekly.

    What will we do?
    Rock climbing will be the focus of most classes, working on building skills each week. Bouldering (climbing low walls without rope tie-ins) may be done for part of the time. When appropriate, participants may learn knot-tying, terminology, and other related skills.
